CPTC HEARING

 

The Connecticut Public Transportation Commission (CPTC) will hold a public hearing in Waterbury on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 to give citizens and local officials an opportunity to voice their view on public transportation services.

 

The hearing will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater in Sovereign Bank, downstairs, 26 Kendrick Avenue, Waterbury, CT.

 

The CPTC is particularly interested in receiving comments from public officials and private citizens on such issues as:

 

1.             Night bus service

2.             Bus stop upgrade/signs

3.             Commuter bus services to/from Waterbury

4.             Senior transportation

5.             Relocation of transit services/Intermodal Transit Center

6.             Train station improvements

7.             Lack of sidewalks along state/state roads/State not paying for sidewalks

8.             Other transit topics of interest to the public.
